Thurrock Heritage Forum leaflet 2001. |
|
|
Regularly
exhibit and impart heritage information on Thurrock's heritage and
culture, via various venues, including Horndon Feast & Fayre,
Belhus Park Country Fair, Corringham Dickensian Evening,
Tilbury Fair, Stanford-le-Hope Festival, & various Grays Beach
activities days. |

|
Co-operated
in forming a design team, in association with Thurrock Museum to
develop the 'Thurrock Heritage Trails', supported with a grant
from the Cory Environmental Trust. |

|
Involved
with Thurrock unitary authority celebrations. |
|
|
Keeping
a watchful eye on historic buildings and landscapes within
Thurrock and reporting any concerns to the relevant council
department. |
|
|
Consultation
on riverside access and footpaths. |
|
|
Worked
with council officers to initiate the reconstruction of St.
Margaret's church wall, Stanford-le-Hope. |

|
Supporting
with research the Thurrock tourist mini guide. |

Had
input into the discussion of the Purfleet Rifle Range site (now the
R.S.P.B. wildlife area). |
