If you have an interesting photo or postcard that references Thurrock's heritage we would very much appreciate to see it, as it will help us record more of Thurrock's history for prosperity.
We are particularly interested in recording aspects of Thurrock Life in the past. We have a purpose made tape recording devise that can record your stories and anecdotes for all our grand children to appreciate as their heritage. Please contact us to arrange a mutual time.  

We are always pleased to discuss Thurrock's past with those interested, and can give presentations to clubs and societies, with projected photography. We can also arrange for displays based on specific subjects to be left in public areas (e.g. libraries, schools, Community Halls), so please contact us for more information.

We also have many free leaflets on different aspects of Thurrock's heritage, in stock as well as postcards produced by the museum at 30p each.
